MANAGING DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE

Kuelimisha na Kusaidia Jamii Foundation (Kusaja Foundation) is the non-profitable and non-governmental organization which provide practical capacity-building programmes and strategic social economic and relief services to support poor and disadvantaged people; and attain sustainable denelopment in poverty-affected area of the United Republic of Tanzania and elsewhere in the future. Kusaja Foundation provides a variety of shorter and longterm assistance to individuals and groups in disadvantaged areas of communities. The Foundation works with other organisations and volunteering individuals in its efforts to translate the sharing of the skills, knowledge and experience of the promoted beneficiaries across cultures and continents into fruition.

The requirement for eligibility for acquisition of the foundation benefit is determined by the strength of the need of an individual or group. A qualified team of the foundation personnel identify and/ or bring together men and women with comperable experience and problems, with the aim of enabling them, through a fully participatory process, to develop new ideas, skills and motivation to work and develop their communities.

We sincerely encourage and invite people and organisation to sincerely support the foundation's activities in their capacities to ensure the aim of the Foundation to provide humanitarian services is furthered. The Foundation accepts and receives funds from individuals, organisations and governments in the form of grants, contributions, loans, donations subscriptions or subsidy. I'm looking forward to welcome you as one of the memberof the Foundation not in a distant future.

WHAT IS KUSAJA FOUNDATION
The Kusaja Foundation ( previously known as Kusaja International Charitable Foundation) is established in 2001 in order to carter for economic, social and relief services in the United Republic of Tanzania and elsewhere in a future. The foundation is so designed to help alleviate poverty, economic hardship and social inequalities, but with special emphasis to health, water and sanitation facilities, agrolivestock production, environmental care, peace building and advocacy on human rights, art promotion and cultural heritage, and educational services.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
The Kusaja Foundation was Founded to provide basic and vital supplementary educational, economic, social and relief services to the need people worldwide. The beggining of such a private charitable foundation, the largest of its kind in Tanzania, was a response to the growing need for the reliable non-trading organisation for an ideal involment in quality social, economic and relief services.The institution of the Foundation aims to implement the meeting of the strategic requirements of the communities in Tanzania and elsewhere; by offering full range of basic community services.

For many reasons, the Foundation intergrative leading-edge roles advocates remarkable access of the average and poor individuals to the dramatic depth and breadth of the necessities and economic equities. To that extent, the exporation of the multitude of equal opportunities for engagement of individuals in social and economic activities is indespensable.
