GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
To contribute to the; develop and maintain social, mental, physical and spiritual understanding, and perspective of the individuals in Tanzania and worldwide through provision of quality social, economic, health and relief services in improving the well-being of the people, life expectancy and quality of life for as many people as possible of the targeted group.
THEMATIC AREAS
The services offered by the foundation are:
Public primary and preventive health care:
Disease prevention ( malaria, TB, HIV/ AIDS ), child care and reproductive health, medical supplies, construction of rural dispensaries, nutrition, promotion and support of health workers.
Educational services:
Sponsorship, literacy programs, vocational training, construction of primary and secondary schools, teaching materials and educational material support.
Agriculture:
Diary development, agricultural inputs credits and training, food security programmes, agricultural land sustainability programmes.
Rural water supply:
Improving rural water supply and sanitation facilities, hygiene promotion and training.
Environmental care:
Land sustainability, prevention of pollution.
Gender and development:
Promotion and coordination of income generating schemes, cooperatives initiativ, cultural awareness.
Advocacy on human rights:
Prevention of harmful cultural practices including prevention of Female Genital Mutilation activities, peace building and conflict resolution, advocacy, human rights on women and girls, equal rights.
